The Nulok Roofing System offers a highly efficient method of installing Natural Slate, Nulok Solar Tiles and Ceramic Tiles.
This incredibly robust system uses horizontal Zincalume Battens spaced at 307mm apart, which are then locked in place with Nulok Zincalume Link Channels. each has a single stainless steel clip to secure one end of the leading edge of each slate. This Link Channel eliminates the need for double-lapping the slates and allows water to pass over where it is routed by the Link Channel onto the surface of the slate below. It also means that less slate is used in the roof installation, saving time, cost and overall weight, importantly it allows tradespeople to walk on the roof during installation.
Our system is also used to install our unique Nulok Solar Tiles, which fit into rather than onto the roof ensuring that the integrity of the roofline is not compromised. Overcoming a significant objection that many home owners have about the ugliness of solar panels which can be very unattractive when installed on many roof types and can add a significant weight load to the roof.

2Then specially designed Link Channels are snap fitted to the battens to form an interlocking grid system.
